Be a Leader in Your Neighborhood
The city of Riverside is looking for people who want to make a difference in their community. The Neighborhood Leadership Academy is looking for 30 residents who are actively involved and looking to improve their neighborhoods.
The Academy will be offering FREE classes with sessions on:
- Communication
- Managing conflict
- Problem solving
- Team building
- Cultural diversity
A light dinner will be provided, with the classes being held on eight consecutive Thursday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m. starting September 18th through November 6th at the Janet Goeske Center (5257 Sierra Street, Riverside, CA 92504).
Applications must be in by 5 p.m., Thursday, September 18, 2008.
